October Real Estate Market Report for Williamson County: Numbers Continue to EncourageCategory: Market Trends | Permalink Published: Monday, November 19, 2012 The real estate market report for Williamson County shows continuing increasing trends for the month of October with growth across the board in the number of closings, average sales price, and a decrease in the number of days on the market for homes for sale in Williamson County on average.
Homes for sale in Brentwood, TN showed especially encouraging numbers with an overall increase in units sold at 19.7% over this time last year, as well as the average days on the market decreasing by over three weeks. In Franklin, the average sales price for homes continues its upward trend with a 14.2% increase over 2011 and a four year high that continues to keep the value of homes for sale in Franklin, TN well above the $400K mark.
Overall, homes for sale in Williamson County, TN continue to outpace other counties in middle Tennessee. Homes for sale in Franklin, TN are selling up to three weeks faster than they did this time last year. Brentwood, TN is also enjoying a quicker turn-around, selling homes almost two weeks faster.
