2011 saw an increase in home sales in Williamson County, with 2979 houses purchased. Home sales in Franklin lead the way with 1415 home purchases. Brentwood home sales, a prestigious area of Williamson, came in second with 655 homes purchased. Both areas saw an almost 9% increase in sales over the last year. Both areas are popular with families and investors.

Median home prices were stable in Williamson County, but both Franklin and Brentwood home sale prices saw a minor drop of less than 2% over the year. However, with the rebound in total sales, home prices in Brentwood and Franklin are expected to slowly rise.
