Feb. Home Sales on the rise in Williamson County, Tn http://www.previewnashvillerealestate.com/blogpost-74136/FebHome-Sales-Stats-Franklin-And-BrentwoodTn.html   February 2012 Home Sales for Davidson and Williamson Counties have just been released and the news looks GREAT!!!

Williamson County continues to be a driving force in local Real Estate markets with single family residential closings increasing by 26% compared to February 2011.  Within the County, Brentwood Tn. saw 36 closings ( 63 pending) with an average price of $556,578 after an average of 120 days on the market.  The highlight of the Brentwood market continues to be the "Brentwood South" area with the incredible popularity of executive communities like Taramore, Sonoma and Inglehame Farms.

Even more great news can be found in the Franklin Tn. market, where there were 94 single family home closings and another 117 homes go under contract after only 93 days on the market!  Total number of homes sold in Franklin are up 7.7% over February 2011 and in the Cool Springs 37067 zip code the average home sale price is up a full 8.2%!  Cool Springs corridor neighborhoods like McKay's Mill, Ashton Park, Avalon and Carronbridge continue to be popular among new residents relocating to Williamson County!

2012 has been terrific for home sales in Brentwood and Franklin houses for sale! Franklin leads the way with home prices increasing more than 16% since January 2011. Homes for sale in Franklin also sold almost 3 weeks faster than those on the market last January. Brentwood, with an average home listing price of $640,528 saw an almost 30% increase in sales over a year ago and a 10% increase in average sales price. Home sales in Franklin lead the way with 1415 home purchases. Brentwood home sales, a prestigious area of Williamson, came in second with 655 homes purchased. Both areas saw an almost 9% increase in sales over the last year. Both areas are popular with families and investors.

Median home prices were stable in Williamson County, but both Franklin and Brentwood home sale prices saw a minor drop of less than 2% over the year. However, with the rebound in total sales, home prices in Brentwood and Franklin are expected to slowly rise.
